Darryl Lock

Director of Instructors

Darryl Lock is a member of the Professional Golfers Association and has been teaching the game of golf for 19 years.  From 1992 to 2001 he was owner/operator of Kimaquan Golf Club and Kimaquan School of Golf located in northeastern Pennsylvania.  He started Kimaquan School of Golf in 1993 were he taught until the fall of 2001. 

In 2002 he became Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction of the Nike Golf Learning Center at Skippack Golf Course.  For the two years with the Nike Golf Learning Centers, Darryl introduced over 230 new adult golfers, and 200 junior golfers to the game. Darryl has a teaching philosophy of working with the swing that a person has already developed or for a new golfer, develop there swing according to their body type and physical capabilities.

Darryl is currently the Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction of Darryl Lock’s Golf Academy at Skippack Golf Club.

Tim Astheimer

Assistant Golf Professional

Tim Astheimer is a graduate of the University of West Virginia. He is presently an apprentice in the PGA “Professional Golf Management Program”. This is Tim’s 13th year working at Skippack Golf Club. Tim assisted Head Professional Darryl Lock with Nike Junior Camps from 2002 to 2006. Currently Tim is the assistant professional for Darryl Lock's Golf Academy and lead instructor of the Nike Junior Camps. He also teaches private lessons . Tim’s teaching philosophy is to make the game simple and repeatable. Tim also stresses the importance of a sound mental approach to the game. He offers a comfortable learning environment with just the right amount of encouragement. Book a lesson to start seeing improvement in all aspects of your game.
